At Nestled Photography (“we”, “us”, “our”), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), India. By using our website or booking our services, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Personal details - name, email, phone number, and address shared through our contact or booking forms.
Event information-date, location, and type of shoot (wedding, pre-wedding, portrait, commercial).
Photographs & videos- images and footage captured during your session.
Payment information-processed through secure third-party gateways; we never store your card or bank details.
Website usage data-IP address, browser type, and behaviour, collected via cookies or analytics tools.

How we use your information

Privacy of your photographs

Showcasing our work is part of how our studio grows — but some sessions call for discretion. You may choose one of the following at the time of booking, or any time after:

Sharing of information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share limited data with:

Payment gateway providers, to process transactions securely.
Cloud storage services (such as Google Drive), used only to deliver your final files.
Analytics providers (such as Google Analytics), to understand website traffic.
Event vendors — such as your wedding planner or venue — only when you've asked us to coordinate with them.
Legal authorities, only where required by law.

Some of these services may store data on servers located outside India; where this applies, the provider’s own safeguards govern that transfer.

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you can:

Request correction of inaccurate information.
Request deletion of your data, including photographs, subject to legal or contractual limits.

Withdraw consent for portfolio or marketing use of your images at any time.

Children's privacy

We may photograph children as part of family or event shoots, with a parent or guardian’s consent. We don’t knowingly collect personal information directly from children without that consent.

Grievance redressal

In accordance with the Information Technology Rules, we’ve designated a Grievance Officer to address any concerns about how your information is handled. Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days wherever possible.
